Questions before you send
How far in advance should I book?
Two to three weeks is comfortable. December weekends, Grade R graduation season and school fun days go much earlier than that, so if your date falls in one of those, ask now even if you're not ready to confirm.
Can you do a party of ten children?
Yes, though the pricing is built in rounds of fifty servings, so a small party pays the same as a medium one. Plenty of people still do it and send guests home with the leftovers — just go in knowing that.
What happens if it rains?
The machines need to stay dry, so we'll need somewhere covered — a garage, a veranda, a hall, or a gazebo you arrange. Talk to Gloria the day before if the forecast turns and she'll work it out with you.
Do you need a deposit?
A deposit holds your date, with the balance settled on the day by card or cash.
Can you invoice a school or a company?
Yes. Say so when you enquire and Gloria will send a proper invoice with whatever reference or order number your finance office needs.
Is there anything you don't do?
We bring the treat stations. Cake, décor, jumping castles and entertainers are somebody else's job — though Gloria has worked alongside most of them in Soweto and is happy to point you at someone good.
